Living in Lausanne

Hey lads,
My fiancee is moving to Lausanne for a year in order to study there. After a week and a half she still can't find any room or small apartment for rent..
Is there anyone from Lausanne here who could help with some info/links/advices?

It's a great city, but it's difficult to get an appartment for a reasonable price and conditions (some landlords ask for insane high bails). The options are the student dorms, check www.unil.ch and www.epfl.ch and find the accomodation sections to get more info. The best option is to find a room in a flat share somewhere in lausanne, or in the periphery: renens or morges. look for petites annonces :) www.wgzimmer.ch, www.etudiants.ch, www.students.ch.

what school?
It might help figuring out what's the best neighborhood to live in.
Periphery is great/cheaper but publics are expensive!
