Hm. I was hoping to be able to find a way to obtain a work visa for Naples, as that's where my family hails from, but it appears that in order to work in Italy, I'd need to have an employer apply for preliminary clearance from the provincial employment office by submitting evidence that my skills are not available in the local labor market.
It seems highly unlikely that a company in Naples or the whole of Italy and, by extension, Europe for that matter, would ever vouch such an outrageous claim. Unless, of course, one of my lovely QBNer friends have clout at said companies.
Anyone? Anywhere? Be your best friend...
ps. Provided the success of this goal, I have a furnished apartment that will be on the market to rent extremely competitively (read: cheap!) in the NYC area. Just a FYI to hopefully entice you to ask around.

DYSPL, I could prolly be fluent in French within 3-months of living there. I was almost fluent when I graduated from high school, having taken 6-years of it. It would just take some time for the vocabulary and meter to return. Know of any opportunities in Paris? Je serai ton meilleur ami.
