hi
i'm having trouble uploading a .mov onto vimeo.
basically the sound seems to be out of sync with the visualsanyone experience this problem before or can suggest a way to side track this problem ?
thanks

never happened to me on vimeo. but on youtube. export using a different codec helps. h.264 is not good for this. sorensen 3 seems ok - just set everything to best quality.

the original file was made in flash syncing images to sound that was on a timeline. the whole file is 30fps
anyone know a way of bypassing this problem with me having to alter the original timelines ?

do you export to quicktime first?

- so you have a quicktime mov at 30fps and it runs ok on your computer?invisiblechamber

I think its also something to do with the frame rate?
as vimeo will have its own compression, I found this on a forum
Vimeo encodes to 720p24. This means that if you upload at 30fps (or 25fps in PAL land) Vimeo will do a very bad frame rate conversion.

maybe i can use a program to convert a 30fps mov to a 25fps mov ?
anyone know one ?
- yes - do this with quicktime.invisiblechamber
- maybe it's possible directly from flash to set it to 25 while rendering?invisiblechamber
