I've got a great flat in Shoreditch, Broadway market overlooking regents canal. It's a victorian warehouse conversion, with huge windows and great interior. The room is a double. It's available from now until November (although that can be negotiated). The rent is £670 pcm all bills included. Email me for info. and pics. . Ta, Danny.

Dalston is the new Shoreditch these days.
Wuldn't be surprised if Leytonstone or Ponders End becomes "The place to be" 10 years from now...

on a saturday, one of broadway market's stalls serves THE best roast pork sandwich you will find in London.
shame about the nathan barley cunts who populate the area mind.

wow, thats about €770 per month to share a flat. Thats pretty fucking expensive, is that the going rate in london?
- I thought that was cheap for a flat on the canal.dajaniel
- even more if you want a decent place to yourself: one bed around £250 - £350 per week - within 1 hours commutefelizfeliz
- there are flat shares in Glasgow that are about £400-£500 a month some of which don't even include billspapasmurf82
- for a nice flat its the going rate.... london rent is ridiculous.isakosmo
- fair enough, i thought dublin was pricey for rents, but looks like its average.shitehawke
- Dublin rents went down a bit (not mine though). My cousin just got a very nice 1 bed apt in Clontarf for €800/mo,raf
- Aye, same with some of my friends raf, rents going down all the time.shitehawke
- its the goin rate for central shoreditch... but not all the way out there********

a tripped out restaurant (in what was pub) offering good food next door to a council estate.
last time i was there, Amy Whinehouse spent most of the night locked in the toilet.
