Things is very popular, but the lack of syncing between computers is a major issue for me. I used Remember The Milk, but feels really cheap.

I have Things on the desktop and the iPod Touch.
Works great syncing between to two and helps when you are away from the computer.

Things is a fucking ripoff, $50 for the desktop app and then you have to fork out again for the iphone app?

Things as well. Love it. The iPhone synching is great for me. Super simple too. I find that a lot of task managers get in your way too much to be useful. Kind of expensive though $49 for the app, $10 for the iPhone app.

Backpack! I love it!
Access 24/7 from any computer with an internet connection—plus it has a very good iphone app (satchel).
I'm paying $7/mo

OSX Mail has To-Do lists and Notes already built in, easy to sync with your iCal.

iGTD is worth a look. No iphone support though

Not really a list/task manager, but can really recommend Yojimbo as a categorizable/searchable/labelab... notepad

I've got Things as well, but never really us it. I don't use my to-do lists in iCal, Google Calendar and Basecamp either. The only one I use regularly is the Listomni iPhone app (for tasks that don't make me money). So, I've pretty much failed.

I've heard of Things, maybe I'll have a look at it.
ismith – that's the problem I have – lack of discipline when it comes to actually using these things!
ribit – I'll google Yojimbo too, cheers.
Point5 – I'd forgotten about the to-do list in iCal, isn't that quite basic too though? I'll have to check it out.
Cheers folks...
- I tried Things too, but can't be bothered with entering tasks, and have more notes/info reallyribit

Can't recommend enough Remember The Milk, an online task-management service. Its really flexible for what your needs are for task management. http://www.rememberthemilk.com. Did a little review as well http://blog.karlfreeman.co.uk/po…
