I've really never experienced Firefox "hanging" on Mac...

Safari... There is just something really inconsistent about the Firefox browsing experience that drives me crazy. It feels like one convoluted Windows app.

I use Safari even though I suspect Firefox is better.
I heard someone describe Firefox as the "ITV1 of browsers", whereas Safari is like the BBC... probably only the Brits will get that reference.

I prefer Firefox as Safari doesn't have my fav shortcut:(command+enter) which adds "www." and ".com" to what I'm typing.
Did you know Safari had a Firebug-like inspector?
Activate it in Terminal:
defaults write com.apple.Safari \
WebKitDeveloperExtras -bool trueThen it appears in right-click context menu (Inspect Element)

Safari hands down, faster rendering, faster loading, faster javascript, native interface, native spellchecking, native dictionary definitions.
Then Glimmer Blocker for ad blockingFirefox is a clunky piece of shit and if you say that to any of the fanboys they just tell you that you are using too many extensions yet when you said you'd rather use safari they just say OH BUT IT HAS NO EXTENSIONS, fuck sake make your minds up.
