Brochure Finishing

I have been asked to create a Case bound (cloth covered hard back) brochure, about 24pp. The lead time for case binding is not long enough so I need something which is quicker to produce but exudes the same quality.
I was think maybe, Singer Sewn or glued with a french folded card cover.
Does anyone else have any suggestions/examples?
thanks

Tricky, I'd say too big a run for a hand made kind of book binder, and they are expensive anyway. How about saddle stitching, but then having a 8pp cover that folds back to create a book jacket, hiding the stitching. Seen it done, looks pretty smart but won't cost as much as some other finishes.
Or, print a sleeve/book jacket for a saddle stitch brochure? Really depends on how much you can spend.

So, don't saddle stitch the cover in? just have it folded round the first page? is that what you mean. I suppose then I can crease in a little 5mm spine too.... hmmm interesting

yeah, the stitching can hold the text pages, and will be cheaper than perfect bound/cloth binding etc, but by hiding the staples you can create the illusion of something more special. Should be quicker to print and finish too.
