- Thank you.sunshinetherapy
- i think the rest of your folio looks good - this just takes away from it, for me... Just my two centsidentity
- As in, you don't like it?sunshinetherapy
- as in it doesnt show a lot of original thought - its a direct rip from Experimental Jetset...identity
- That was completely 100% the idea mate. I was using ecologists and environmentally friendly people as if they were band members.sunshinetherapy
- that's an esoteric-bridge that 99.9% of people will not be able to cross...identity

Dig yer work. Nice one page folio site (not to forget the 2nd page). Like all the big pictures. Don't optimize them too much, most folks that'll being viewing your site will be on broadband (Your site loads up fast for me).
- +1, I hate jpg artifacts, rather wait a few extra seconds.slappy
- i sort of agree. it loads pretty fast here at my place!sunshinetherapy

Also need to kern the title, especially the art in "Art Director".
Also the dotted line below it doesn't look crisp, make it 1 pixel high or the dots all one tone?
Haha, I'm sorry, I cant help it.

The kerning is fine! it's just when it goes into Photoshop. I can promise you in this one instance the kerning is 100% perfect!!
I did it in illustrator and then copied and pasted into photoshop and then saved as a jpg. When i bring it into Dreamweaver it must look funny!

1) I would order the work a bit differently. The Beethoven piece is good, but you have stronger, and the stronger should go first.
2) The labels for the coffee are really good. But presenting them on flattened bags does nothing for your site. I'd just show the labels. If you really, really want to use the bags, photograph them filled as they would look on the store shelf! The unfilled bags seem really half-assed.
3) Follow the other advice about optimizing images better, and eliminating some of the excess and random white space, and you are fucking golden!!
Good work! You should be rolling in dosh!

Cheers Boobs. Fair point for 1 and 3, but i have to be honest the bag was a real shot. I photoshopped the labels on over the top. Even though we shot all the bags, one looked best, so i thought i'd just use that one. But they are defo filled with coffee! I have them here.
No dosh i'm afraid, as always...

dave did you do this as well as I love this design as well, as its kinda the same as your bbc work?

- Very similiar yes. I used an illustrator for this job and he uses reference. So he's probably taken the trees from either this image or one similiar. Two completey different posters though and i did all the hand drawn type etcsunshinetherapy

some really nice work on there dave.
couple of points regarding the site, i think the work could be laid out a little better in places with more of a rigid grid.
i think the page 2 is unnecessary and will result in people missing the lovely work you have done for Warburtons.
oh, and i agree with ideast about the t-shirt, you should credit experimental jetset with the original.
welcome to qbn, at least no-one is calling you a cunt. they must be in a good mood.
- In all honesty i tried to credit Experimental Jetset but run out of room on the line as i was trying to keep every explination to one line. I wasn't in any way trying to claim originallity in the style, but thought people would appreciate the idea. Peopletree are an eco friendly clothes team and this was promoting eco friendliness. I'll reword the description! thanks for the comments thoughsunshinetherapy
