wow avrils - that takes me back. my MO was to fire an avril off in the general direction of the enemy and only lock it on to them at the last moment - thus giving them no time to evade/shoot it down. :sigh: good times...

I used to get this going between driver and real life driving, I've given both up now.

hahaha...a few years back, after a few months deeply embedded in Unreal Tournament I'd take a walk down the street and, on hearing a helicopter overhead, have an actual physical impulse to pull out an AVRiL (Anti-Vehicle Rocket Launcher for the luckily uninformed) and shoot the fucker out the sky. It was the weirdest feeling - I could trace the white heat of reaction from somewhere deep in the cerebellum, flooding across to the orbitofrontal cortex before snaking down my spine, manically searching for the weapon that should by now be in hand.
