I just got myself "iPhone application development for dummies" today as I fancy trying to learn how to build them.
Started reading the book and ..... it turns out you need an Apple to run the SDK.
Anyone got this running on a PC using a dual boot or virtual machine?
And if so, how'd you do it or what instructions did you follow?

Get a Mac.

you didn't need to get the book to learn that, it was in the developers download info ;)

once you go Mac you don't go back, seriously, get a 20 inch iMac or a Macbook Pro 13 inch, you'll love it

a mac mini can work, connect and fire up that ol CRT monitor, and you will be part of Apple's gold rush in no time.

ernexbcn, i started on macs then moved to pc's :P
i dont think i'd go back though, maybe as a work computer but not for a musicmaking computer as ive too many virtual synths that are pc only.
