Help with slide effect, webbies

I'm building a site that essentially has a little list of text links spread horizontally at the top of the page. Under them is some other random content. I'm looking for something that will slide the content down with an image upon clicking on one of the text links. After clicking on another text link, it would simply slide and replace the other image (no stacking). What's the easiest way to go about this? Javascript, Jquery? Any tuts or examples? Thanks.

Not sure I am picturing it correctly but it sounds like jquery + jquery cycle would be the easiest way to do it. Check out the advanced pager options.

Sort of like that, except instead of having a fixed box with a photo like your example, the content below the image area would slide and adjust based on the height of the image displayed. The easiest way to think of it is having some text, a line break, more text, and having the content after the line break slide up/down according to the height of the image displayed.
