You have to comment out the code as well. Deleting the assets will just remove the visual stuff. You will still have stuff running in the background. I would find the class that runs the gallery and start from scratch.

Do yerself a favor tho - save out a copy to experiment on. Don't do it to the original .fla, in case anything goes wrong and you want to get something back. Also, it's good to have a complete working series of files to study and understand how someone put together a site. Good luck.

I bet you could find the same thing, a lot cheaper, on flashden.

i suggested using autoviewer as it is cheap, easy and works just as well. but you know how clients can get!

And next time tell your client this is a really shitty way of doing business ;) And that they are not getting anything of value or originality. I personally would turn down the job. But that is just my 135 US Dollars

Argh... this is client being very disrespectful...
Would you buy a jacket at Wall-Mart, then take it to a taylor and ask to have the sleeves removed to make it a vest?

If you have the .fla (which I assume you would), either delete all of the assets that are used to make the header and footer, or copy and paste the gallery tool into a new .fla, and you'd be good to go.
But, does this mean you have to lose that dope music?
- desmo0
haha yes unfortunately, the music must go
