this may be a stupid question, but has anyone ran into this problem dealing with opening emailed zip files? my client can't seem to open the file on her pc. i understand that some windows os automatically block things like this if they are certain files; however, mine consists of jpgs, ai's, pngs, and so forth. i tried opening it from my work pc and it is in fact blocked. so i went into the files properties and chose the "unblock" option to see if that would work and to no avail... nada. anyone have any suggestions or a solution as to why this may be happening?
(i have a mac and used stuffit deluxe 09 to compress the file and sent it to the client via email. she can't open it on her pc, as well as the individuals she forwarded the email to.)

Try compressing it my control clicking, compress. Either that or just email the files individually. Thats what I would do.

Zip files are considered virus on most virus scanners. If someone has a PC, I would send it as an upload.

If they are just series of JPGs, it doesnt compress pretty much anything.

upload it to a server for them to download from. email them the link

IMO, use Megaupload or something similar to send them the files. It's free, and filter-free.

Or can create a zip and just change the extension/filename, then after she downloads the file she can readd the extension. For example, name the file filename(dot)zip then rename to filename.zip
