css overlapping tab technique?

  hi guys,

  i know this is probably not the best place to ask this, but just in case if theres a css guru here.

  what's the easier/best way to achieve this overlapping tab navigation?

  there are a few techniques out there. if you have a look on google i remeber reading one really good one.

  although your looking at adding a class with active and z-index switching with overlapping background images...
  either negative margins or absolute positioning...
