I know this sounds desperate, but I really think my Flash CS4 is screwed somehow.
Can someone with CS4 publish this and see if they get any errors. It should throw a bunch of random Flickr images onto the stage.

It's from a tutorial from this month's Computer Arts magazine. I play their swf and it runs. Then I publish their FLA and get errors.

Try putting it online and testing it in a browser. When I published, it gave me 1 error, an Unhandled ioError. In my experience, API's like Flickr, YouTube, Facebook don't work in Flash itself, but work fine when published and viewed in a browser.

Ok, this guy who was published in Computer Arts has taken enough of my time making me debug his file before having a chance doing his tutorial.

It's trying to call that if function before it exists, easily solved by listening for ADDED_TO_STAGE, and firing it from a real class.

Tested on CS4, builds but get a runtime error of:
Error #2044: Unhandled ioError:. text=Error #2032: Stream Error. URL: file:///D|/Users/AlexSzeremeta/D...
