well, it's probably the best mouse i worked with ( my opinion ) but the fucking scroll was killing me.. this just solves it clean and simple

Microsoft mice are the best products they make. Ive had one like this for years, and its always been great. plus, i love the smooth scrolling wheel.

I love it, its very accurate and comfortable to use for long periods of time. I turned off the sensitive buttons and just use it like the previous models w only 1 button.
When the scroll ball gets dirty, you just flip the mouse upside down and roll the wheel while blowing on it 3 times, so the dust accumulated washes out, then it works just like new.
what he is doing there is the same principle, rotate the ball outside down to remove dust, he is not "mashing" the mouse, he is "gently moving it upside down".

The horizontal scroll is sweet.
Overall I like the feel of regular mice better. Mighty Mouse is kind of tiny.

i can use a mouse shaped like my hand, or one that looks really good.
And dont even get me started on that horseshit right click button. "Oh boy! It looks like their arent any buttons, but there are 2!"

sorry this thread was not about "my windows mouse is better than yours", it's probably due to accomodation but I can't stand any other mouse, they're too big or too tiny or too shapy, too heavy whatever. I really like the feel of the mighty mouse and am not here saying it's the best, only that it's the best for me.
The problem with it is the scroll. I love it but it gets stuck pretty quickly for a mouse of that price.
found this very easy solution and shared it because there's probably lots of people here with their scrolls fucked up.
(mighty mouse is ambidextrous BTW)- hahah. sorry. i kinda hijacked your thread. and yes, its all personal preference. i just dislike the MMbaseline_shift

i would stop using it if it wasnt for the scroller. its amazing
the mouse driver acceleration curve in osx is out of hell however. switching from windows to osx was a pain in the ass

great mouse. rub the ball with a slightly damp cloth every now and then. problem solved.
