Family Crests / Logos / Flags

    So Father's day is coming up soon I'm thinking of having my design screen printed on a flag for my dad and gramps by some buddies of mine. Since my family name has no formal crest (I'm American w/ English last name) I've always thought of this as an opportunity to craft a new family flag or crest to have as a flag out on our boat and up at the cabin - just for the fuck of it. Anyone other designers wanted to do this ever or have created one from scratch? Mine is turning out to be more like a fun Zissou-esque flag with a main symbol and one representative icon in each corner. Any cool ones you guys have made recently?

    Has anyone come across an Isxley(sp?) Brothers Crest/Shield?

    I stumbled across it a few years back in a comm arts or graphis (can't remember which). But it was very ornate and had the letter stacked on top of eachother? I have never been able to find it since.
