This weekend I saw a homemade stereo on wheels that was run on a car battery and car stereo. Had great power and functioned really well for a touring team.
Has any one made one or have any experience with car battery to Car stereo hook ups.
Would love to make one. Do I need a transformer or inverter or something?

I was on tour with my hockey team ovr the weekend and there were about 70 teams playing. A few of them had these cutom made stereos with coolers and everything on wheels. Meant we could keep drinks cold, hold our valuables and create a lighthearted party atmosphere at the same time. Power from a car battery meant it was rechargable and powerful enough to output at a decent level. Plus we could also use it when doing a bleep test!!

I wanted to make one that would work using solarpanels.. but I think it would take a few months to charge a car battery that way.
