AND ... I have never seen so many people on QBN trying to help out with such a shit "design"! Weird. You should be thankful.

@rson... I know what you mean. I really do appreciate QBN and the wonderful people on here offering their help.
Let me ask one last thing and then I'll be "done" with this one.
The client said that they wanted the picture of the card, and that they wanted little things changed on it. They also wanted the Dice and Cards on there and told me exactly how they wanted them.
I think maybe a good thing that I could do would be to give them what they want and like, and then completely go back to the drawing board and create something with my QBN advice and with true design tactics in mind.
Does everyone think that is a good plan? Even though it would be working for free, I really think it would be good for me to do for my own benefit and to show the client that I can take their idea and create something even better than what they think would be good.
- It usually works better that way. You show them you care about their input and you do the first version according to their non-senseOSFA
- sense and input. This will ease the process of presenting an alternate version YOU think works better for the brandOSFA
- And if things go well and you present/sale it right, they'll go with your professional recommendationOSFA

It never hurts to show the client an alternative to what they have their hearts set on. If you are the designer, it's your responsibility to try and steer them toward a better solution as well as present concepts they might not have thought of. This is why you need to charge per hour and not per job, especially at so early a stage in your design career.
- I hear what you are saying Mayo. Do you think it's ok to charge per hour when someone like myself is learning?hubb7designs
