hello, i'm working on a new site for 2 realtors who sell high end homes in san diego. the main image area is going to be flash displaying several properties with headlines.
feedback please:

Looks pretty nice leftwave. I would darken the text a bit overall and lighten the background to bring the content into focus a little bit better. Maybe drop the script font for the header and just use live text for that.
Also I think the italics in the search fields is a little over the top.But - nice overall for this kind of thing.
- The question marks in the search fields are also unneccessarymonospaced
- Yeah definitelyukit
- +1 on darker textAnees

so many fonts...

I agree too many fonts. move the logo up too.

i think it looks great. nice colors, nice touch. the only thing that doesn't seem to match are the back and forth arrows for the featured properties...doesnt look as 'rich' as the rest.

maybe make the call to action on the header image stronger, its sorta lost

slightly more contrast between type and background.
ditch the script for the sans.
overall, really nice. i like the muted feel and background.
- yeah, and what twokids said. calm those arrows down a bit.baseline_shift

Looks good man. I would minimize the number of fonts, lose or use another method of introducing images to the three sections under the main photo (palm tree, horses, etc.) and tighten up the left side. You have too much padding between elements.

It seems a bit flat overall. I thing you should move everything up so more is above the fold (on a Macbook Pro). I also agree with what people were saying above with too many typefaces. Logo needs to be more inline with the main nav in my opinion.

great feedback, i will follow this advice. keep it coming....
thanks everyone!

looks good leftwave - slight thing I would move the logo up as Mr LLLyod said above and generally move everything in the left hand column up a bit, slighty decreasing the space betwen them.
nice though

looks nice and clean. Wouldn't they want the featured properties higher on the page like maybe within the top image area? Also scale doesn't seem to be laptop friendly - looks great on my 24" and on my 20" but I miss the guts of the site on a laptop. Also for some reason the gutters bother me, 2 lines between top nav and picture but only one line between "ranch to coast" copy and "search properties?"

thanks for the feedback everyone! i've implemented some of your ideas and think this is ready to build out. let me know if you have any final comments?

would rethink the colour palette and background - looks bit washed out and aimed more towards retirement ppl than rich peeps
layout and content is spot on tho

i like the layout and colors but most of the text is a bit hard to read - seems a little washed out

I think the Mort & Malkus (logo line) could be slightly stronger in color, it feels too subtle right now.
I'd tighten up the left column a bit too. The content doesn't have to stretch to the bottom, as it could be far from the bottom on interior pages.
Over all it has a really nice feel to it!
...oh, and fix the page title to not be untitled ;)

looks pretty similar. id still say ditch that script and make the text a little daker

Check the margins in the two main content boxes. The margin underneath the script header and the bottom margin seem to be inconsistent.

You've got to make the lawn on that place look more green. It really looks like it needs water. Go Photoshop, or hire new lawn minions and re-shoot in a couple weeks.
