Alright ladies! I am struggling with a shitty banner I'm working on, and really need some help. Please let me know if you have 5 minutes (I know it'll take that long or less) to help me and maybe give me instructions on how to make it werk before the end of the day :(
Thanks!

Yeah, I couldn't post the banner because of work policies, but I'll explain...
I created a banner and now have to deliver the swf file with a link to the client's site embedded. I created a button, but it's not working, I don't know if it's the script or if I did something wrong. What's the easiest way to make it link? thanks...

uh, convert movie to a button. geturl?
- OSFA0
I already have it as a button, here's what I got..
onRelease (){
getURL("http://www.google.com/", "_blank");
}wtf?

put this on a keyframe on the timeline OSFA, make sure your mc is named 'buttonName' or whatever and is named on all of its keyframes.
buttonName.onRelease = function(){
getURL('http://www.url.com', '_blank');
}- thanks skt, at least now I don't have errors on my script. But it still doesn't link fuck!!OSFA

how and where is that script ?
Give your button an instance name, on the timeline, in your seperate 'actions' layer, just plonk that declaration onto the button instance name, like.
myButton.onRelease = function(){ blah...- you are a quicker typer than me. But I make nicer sandwiches, I'll bet :pmikotondria3
