I think design should make you feel something only if that's the designers intention. Otherwise you shouldn't feel anything.
For example with this site I was trying to find the project that had the circles and lines, and since there are no thumbnails I had to go through all the projects, wait for each of them to load etc.. Their web design made me feel frustration. So they succeeded in their goal.

Sorry to single out this one as I feel this away about 80% of the design scene these days but really... The name is cliche, the branding is cliche, the site design is cliche and the work itself is cliche. Hey I'm sure people are happy paying for this because it is good fairly solid design but oh how it stinks the stale stench of monotony.

I think the work is well done, for what it is... I mean, I fundamentally disagree with the whole "design should make you feel something" load of bollocks, and after that's been stated before you even get into the work, it's not much of a shock when it's 90% illustration and there isn't actually much design to be seen there...

really? I think the work is very good. Solid and appealing. There are agencies out there that couldn't produce a solid piece even by copying.
