Anyone has a simple way to fix gradient banding for web application? I'm doing a full page gradient (800x600) and looking to smooth out the lines.
Adding noise just gives shitty looking gradient.

Might also be worth trying to shift the colours a wee bit too, if you can - despite 24bit photowondershop multigb whatever, things still seem to spack out with certain colour combos. imho, of course.

- Add more "in-between" colors or shades of the same color in the gradient.
- Add another semi-transparent layer on top to blend the two together better.
- Add blur or noise and see if that helps.

How are creating these gradients? I have found recently that if you use the layer effects in PS vs drawing them with gradient tool I get smoother results. Some banding will occur on crappy monitors no matter what you do.
