I posted three threads, trying to get help yesterday. That's how easy it is. Also, I have 12 years of Flash experience. The problem is, you don't have a choice. AS2 is two versions old now. The longer you wait the more obsolete your skills become.

It's quite easy if you're already confident with OOP AS2
and i mean: defining setters/getters, public and protected functions and variablesthe biggest changes are the event handling and the loading of external content.
XML handling, on the other side, is just wonderful.- ZZZZZZZzzzzzzzz
dude i dnt know that shit
AS knowledge is limited reallyWeLoveNoise - Oh well, than get Colin Moock AS3 website. It starts quite basic.Autokern
- as3 Book not website: http://www.moock.org…Autokern

as3 is a bitch. I've been trying to switch over for last couple of months. Flash has slowly become a programmers tool. Maybe Adobe catalyst will be more useful for designers.

chap ive been following one of those lynda.com tuts, its pretty good but also pick up a book or two and put it into practice

personally i always found the lynda books to be toooo basic. Friends of ed books tend to have better authors that throw in advanced tibits while teaching you the basics.
also colin moock has a video series on as3 tha would be great for a beginner.

I don't understand what the big deal is. I learned AS3, php, c+, and russian in one day.
