Hi all,
I have created an effect in jQuery, for it to work, I add the # for the url, however, if the user has JS disabled, I would like to take them to a specific URL.
Can anyone help?

have a noscript link to a picture of a donkey fellating an effigy of jesus, then demand your users buck up and enable fucking javascript. Bloody luddites.
- Which is to say. I'm not sure.Nairn

- Can't you just have the Jquery # the div itself, rather than the href?Nairn

Honestly it's too late in the day to worry about people that think they're cleverer than you by having their Javascript turned off.
They wouldn't want to see what you've got anyway. Spend the time honing your jQuery.

add a meta refresh tag with an id attached, that in 3 seconds takes the user to the no-javascript page. in jquery, attach something to the page load that removes that meta tag from the dom.
though if it were me, i'd code the page so that it works with and without javascript.

Just following this guide:

I would like the link to go through to categories I have created in my CMS if disabled, just so they don't get everything on the page.

Nothing to worry about, jQuery allows me to put a link in, it will honor the effect, then the link if no JS.
