Hey guys, something that i can never seem to work out is the forced line break in indesign. I have a block of text and i do a force line break... but for some reason it affects the text before the line break. Surely it should only move things after the line break... not before?
Any help would be much appreciated
James

Sorry, i should say that when i do aforced line break it does what i expect to the text after the break, its just that it affects and causes the lines before the text break to change as well.

Its cos you're using the paragraph composer instead of single line composer in indesign. heres how to change it:

Ahhhh cheers Shitehawke!
- no probs. Its an awkward one, especially if you're used to how quark handles paragraphs.shitehawke
- I think i am, the paragraph composer is great in indesign... can just be a bit oddJamesBoynton
- But if it happens again ill play with the single line composer instead, Cheers!JamesBoynton

Also, is there a way to turn the option off or do you have to pick either paragraph or single line composer?
- Its an either/or it seems. The default is paragraph composer.shitehawke
