my friends bluetooth mouse controls my other friends macbook at the same time.
how do they stop this?
i'm infuriated they think turning off bluetooth and using the trackpad is an acceptable solution.

a) turn off bluetooth sync on second computer
b) re-synch second computer with second bluetooth mouse

Can't they remove the mouse in the preferences somewhere? Like, there's no list of paired devices? I dunno, I'm guessing.

My scroller got fucked up, this is the third mouse in a year!

It really sounds like it's not your problem. Enjoy the feeling of being an innocent, uninvolved third party. Commonly called a "bystander."

Same exact mouse?
Like welded says, if you go to the Bluetooth tab, any mouse that can control either macBook should be in that panel, and you can select it and remove it.
