I've noticed that people don't like to talk about specific prices around here.
Not at all sure why, either, since they'll talk about STDs, erections, shit in the fridge, and all kinds of personal things.
But near as I can tell, no one will talk about rates.
- And what, may I ask, is wrong with discussion of the noble art of fridge shitting?Nairn

Min 1000, to scare away cheepskates....
Pricing doesn't depend on amount of content, it should depend on number of meetings, client attitude, design freedom and how many levels of navigation/categories....

There are too many factors to take into account to make that an easy question to answer.
For example, how much cross-browser testing will you do? If it needs to work perfectly for IE6 this will add to the cost (cost of ball-ache).
Is there any Javascript involved? This costs more.
What about SEO bollocks? This can cost more.
Never used Textpattern, but if it is trickier to set up than Wordpress etc. then this should be taken into account.
And finally there's the premium for how good your stuff is I guess, which is probably the hardest bit to work out.
But err... I agree with vaxorcist without anymore information I'd start at £1,000 minimum (pounds!) and then go up to say £2k for a small site?
