I always get terrible allergies when trees are sexing it up. the worst is to see the layer of pollen on your car. you know its gonna be a bad day.

Try to consume as much 'local' honey as you can. It will act as an anti-body and build up your immune system to lessen your symptoms.
- wise words.Corvo2
- first time i hear that, cool. But is it true?benfal99
- YES!!d_rek
- Honey is made of pollen, and has lots of amazing properties. Especially the "jelly" bees produce.Corvo2
- I've read that you need to eat insane amounts of Royal Jelly for any real measurable effects (like several kilos a day)Amicus
- You never see bees sneezing...MrT

I'm the same way. From February to mid March it's hell being outside. I haven't tried the local honey thing...will have to give it a go next season.

I get that too 2-3 weeks a year.
best 'medicine' I know is to cram vaseline up my nose in the morning, this produces a 'mechanical' filter for all those pollens and that way I can function quite normal those weeks.

I have it... I just take claritin D any day I'm going to be out for a while. But now seeing ghandolf's post about honey, I might just try that, even though I hate honey...

Start with small amounts, and well before the season starts.

change your diet, eat more fresh veg and fruit. Worked for me. I saved a month's salary on not having to buy pills.
