I'm designing a wedding invite (yeah yeah, I know...) for my bro in-law and his Mrs. They want a modern/classic mix for their wedding invites. They are both Mexican American and want a bit of the old country in the type. They really like the feel of this...
Any suggestions to similar looking typefaces? (MI VIEJO)

Do they specifically like the Mi Viejo, or is it a combination of the script beside that particular sans serif that they really like?

Yeah, they like the combo. I'm going to sift out a script to go along-side, I'm just going to set up a few sans and script/hand-written to get a feel going. I'm open right now, just don't want it to look like a café in Mexico ;)

I've seen the sans-serif before, the E and J are tipping me off, but I can't for the life of me remember what it is.

Might even do some hand-made cursive treatments for the script to give it a more personal touch. Something like that which would resonate well for an event like a wedding.
