Are you referring to Differential calculus which is the study of the definition, properties, and applications of the derivative or slope of a function, or are you referring to basic calculus 101?

Personally the Pythagorean theorem has helped become a better designer.

It's helped me when I've needed to do graphical programming or rig an armature in a 3d package.
