Both are most definitely drawn from scratch. The second one looks a bit like some mid–late 19th-century wood types that pre-dated Franklin Gothic, as DNE just mentioned.

Both are the work of a sign writer so not fonts. That said, I have a font family called Bottlecaps which is similar in feel to the yellow letterform. Its a truetype font so not sure if its still commercially available.
