HOLY SHIT!Miguex - dude is like 8ft tall. his head is almost touching the ceiling.adqt

that's pretty intense.... what's the ball made out of? how many players on a team? rules similiar to hockey or basketball?
- akrokdesign0
5 players plus goalie.
the ball is plastic and has holes in it.
its similar to hockey but more play then pushing, as you don't run with any protections.- do u have to play in rooms with 6 foot ceilings like above?Machuse
- hah. no, he is just showing off his mad skills.akrokdesign
- we playing in cal tech gym. it has high celling.akrokdesign

http://www.floorballca.com/i know your in s.f, you could try to email erik at floorballca.com. he might know if there any teams playing up in the bay area.
apparently S.D kicked Bay Area. in Cali State Cup. so there should be a team.

QBN floor hockey!?! Wow I wish I could play!
- sikma0
I play "street hockey" in a modified tennis court that has nets every Saturday. Super fun! It's at a local park so random people of all age groups and skill levels show up. There are pick-up games like this ALL over Vancouver every weekend.
We use regular hockey sticks with plastic replacement blades, but if we played indoors on a smooth gym floor we would probably use the same style sticks that you guys use.
- xcarlx0
how is this any different from floor hockey?
- i think they think it's funversion3
- hm, it's similar. yes. still, sticks are diffrent. the blade too, etc. might be few rules also.akrokdesign

What are the traveling rules? If you got skills like the dude above, couldn't you just juggle the ball from one end to the other since there's no hitting/roughing?
- it probably be pretty hard. the ball needs to travel on the floor so. can't really take it up and run.akrokdesign
- here's official rules. (text heavy)
http://www.floorball…akrokdesign - also it's a team sport so, if you don't pass, i bet the other would get mad at you. lol.akrokdesign
- Cool.dMullins
