Does anyone know what this stands for:
"Latex style file definition for articles for Open Journal System"
A colleague of mine had this project name at school and asked me if I know what it means.
I have no idea but got me curious.

LaTex is one of the original markup languages, prePDF, pre-html, pre all that shit.

wikipedia it....
...it's a markup used by the scientific folks to reach proper typesetting. it's old (in computerscience years), but nonetheless still used a lot.

Aye, poor thing was too ahead of its time and left mired in Academia. If the world was only a slightly different place, we'd've spent the last few years ruing malformed interpretations of xLaTex in IE6.
I say 'poor thing', from the little I played with it back at university, it's probably a good thing.

It looks like a lot like matlab files :)
