removing CS4

guys,
I've been working on a downloaded cs4 trial now for the last 30 days and now i am now trying to install a legitamte copy of cs3.
I have unistalled the cs4 using the unistaller devices but when i try to install the cs3 suite it askes me for the cs4 disk again, am i missing some preference files or something to allow me to complete remove cs4 from my macbook?

Move to a new jurisdictional zone.

there is an adobe app, "suite cleaner" orsomething
a terminal script, wich removes all of the cs4 stuff..
search it on adobe.com

If it's a legit license I would call Adobe. You spent the ££££ you might as well get your monies worth.

check documentandsettings/userdata (default: hide), and remove everything related there

Ended up using appzapper, now installed and working... only took all day :(
