ive got columns and columns of blocks of colour each one being different.
i'm wanting to put inside each block, the CMYK value for that block of colour but because there are so many of them, doing it using the standard colourpicker way in PS will be way too time consuming
so........ does anyone know any better ways to still achieve this and retain my youth at the same time

do you know javascript? you could probably write some sort of adobe script to automate the whole thing.

would that work with photoshop or illy ?

Doing it manually will be time consuming, yes, but if you get your head down and just do it, you'll probably find you're done within the hour.
How long will you waste finding shorter solutions?

u wud think that nairm but i have to
1. use colour picker to get block
2. get each C M Y K value
3. write it manually in the squarethen do this process that takes abou 1 minute - approx 200 times
- not like RGB where u can copy the whole value - this would be betterliveforever
- more like 30 seconds X 200 = 100 minutes. 2 hours tops. just do it then go get a beer.rosem
- << copy and paste the numbers from the palate so its mindless.baseline_shift
- I think the problem he's talking about is that each value for C, M, Y, K...rosem
- ... are in their own box, so you have to copy and paste four times per color.rosem
- yup resem got itliveforever

another option... outsource it to india (www.odesk.com). You can probably have someone do this for under $20 and have it back the same day.
