I've added a new guest user on my mac, but want to hide a back-up drive which is attached to my machine. I know you can hide applications in the login items, but is there anyway to hide a drive?

Personally, I would take my external hd of NSFW scat material with me wherever I went, thus negating the need to 'hide' said drive.
If it aint dodgy, you don't need to hide it!

there's a utility called SetFile that comes with OS X developer tools that you can use to hide any mount points, might work for you.

In a way, I helped there!
Without me bumping the thread with my inane drivel due to being extremely bored and waiting for home time, then 'acescence' may not have seen the thread, thus stopping him from responding with the above solution.
Yay (can you tell I'm bored? Is it 5:30 yet?)
