i'm doing like a 'premium' pack for a bank and they're interested in printing on leather... its like an introductory pack when you join the bank and they want to print onto a leather wallet... is this possible? can you print an image on? rather than just embossing type etc?

only pictures of dragons, and blackletter
- sounds perfect for a bankdropdown

Really depends on the kind of leather you're after.
And, by experience, i know is a process handled out by tannery factories/places, which won't come out cheap.

you can silkscreen on that, but, again, it depends by the finishing of the leather.

cool... silkscreening sounds like a good way to go

You can laser etch it. You won't get colour, but you will get a very accurate hi-res monochrome result with natural-feeling finish.
- h, you're in London? Drop me an email if you're interested in this route, I might be able to help.Nairn

I second going the laser etching route. It's cost-effective and looks great.
