So ah, whatever happened to CTRL double click for NEW DOCUMENT and CTRL ALT double click for OPEN AS? All I ever get is OPEN DOCUMENT. Is there a practical reason they felt they had to remove this super useful shortcut? Is it still there? I've been using this all the time since 1999 so it kind of throws me off a bit. :(
-Thanks

I can't even find info on: Photoshop +"double click" +"open document" in any search engines. Freaking internet!!!! Why is it so useless!!! It's like no one knows that trick. D:<

never heard that either.
In PS3 (mac)
if you control double click it will make the finder active
if you do the same on an open ps file it does nothing as well

just double click the application background, like behind the windows.
also doesnt it have a splash that has a menu of New: stuff

All of those work for double click open. Nothing for double click + some key, new document.
My trick still worked in Photoshop CS3. Why do they force you to add all that useless crap like Bridge and take away time savers? *tear*
