humans included.for those with good looks, the wearing of the deep V will very likely increase their probability of mating this season.
for those lacking good looks, wearing of the deep V is completely out of the question.
those lacking good looks also seem to be very quick to defame and criticize those who are exercising their beauty (by wearing what they please).

what i get from the these threads, is the poster is really saying something to the effect of:
"I don't really get or understand why or for that matter, even the people who choose to wear this, so instead of admitting to myself they seem have more security than i do in trying new things and venturing out past my shell, i will demean them publicly in hopes to find others that will bandwagon with me, therefore justifying my insecurities"

It's just another trend that will fade. I could care less, I see it for what it is. Just like all the other trends...Disco, 80s consumerism, Grunge etc. These people will look back at photos of themselves in 10 years and be like, WTF. Or maybe not, maybe they will be dawning the new hip trend at the time.
