Working from this tutorial as reference:
http://www.adobe.com/devnet/flas…I can set up an html page with links that go to a frame inside the Flash movie. That's the good news.
The bad news is that once you do that, the buttons inside the Flash movie are disabled even though they work fine when I test the movie locally.
Here's my example: http://www.talesfromthehead.com/…
If you really want to be my best friend you can check my source files: http://www.talesfromthehead.com/…
It's very simple. I promise. Thanks in advance.

what do you mean buttons are disabled. I just hit your first link and I can rollover buttons just fine when I click on anchor # and get the flash to that appropriate number.
- Right, but after that all the flash buttons die. Try clicking within the Flash movie after the URL says #anchor<number> at the end.CyBrain

all your button as is on frame one right.
but when you make the swf jump to another frame then the button code never gets setup cause frame 1 gets skipped.use flashvars not that script you are currently using.
or you could put the button as within a function and call that on every frame. (easy but not easily scalable or suggested as good practice)

Well, it works, but the URL stays the same within the Flash movie since I have simple goto statements on the Flash buttons. When I try getURL with the anchor links, they buttons don't work anymore.

http://www.talesfromthehead.com/…- Back/Forward buttons don't work. I'd go with swfaddress.Jugarelly

For all the SWFAddress users: Check out Lee Brimelow's tutorial on how to actually use it. Trust me, there is NO documentation that comes with the download or is there any documentation on the site.
