Kobe vs Melo is a good match up in its own right, as would be Melo vs Lebron ,
lakers in 7
magic in 6

not sure about lakers vs denver yet, but a kobe vs. lebron matchup would be a sweet finals series.
it would also give nike a little more material for their muppet campaign that i always fast-forward through.

Celtics should have closed it out earlier if they were going to have a chance, the better team definitely came out on top in that one.
Lakers will be turning it up a notch in the next series, but I don't think they'll make it, Denver is looking goooooood.
Cavs in 5 vs Orlando.
Saw some clips on the weekend about some of LeBron's moves and how they're not picking him up on some fouls that others would be called for... I'll be interested to see if that continues getting closer to the finals...

fools gold.....the lake show is gonna get manhandled by the nuggets next round, hands down.
who's gonna get this next game 7? boston or orlando? i really don't care i just hope it's a good game.

Well Rocket's gave them a run for their money, but will definitely enjoy the Nuggets dismantling them in the next round. Even Kobe will not be able to save them yet again this year. He is nothing without Shaq and his search for the ring will be fruitless.

In my honest opinion, I think that game 7 swings more in the Rockets favor (not just because I am a fan) but since it will be THE highest pressure game to win since they were/are picked to go the finals. Kobe may try and do too much and allow the Rockets to stay close.
If I had Hedge's money, I definitely would be betting on the Rockets.
- best more for Phil is to keep Shanon Brown, and Farmer in and bench Bynum.irrelevant
- picked by who? someone in Houston?refunktion
- Bynum was the difference wasn't he? well Pau too.akoni

The Lakers did not look in it at all that match... what's happened LA? Lost your mojo?
I sort of want Houston to beat them in game 7 now that they've made it this far... Kobe et al should've beaten them by now.
PS. Go CAVs!!!
- Laziness, pure and simple. Lakers are beating themselves.akoni
- uh.. and I think I meant 'plain' and simple.akoni
- leaving all their energy for a game 7 zinger perhaps?BuddhaHat
- i expect a 50 point margin this time.. nothing less or i will be disappointed yet agian in their effort, or lack there of.

On a side note:
"Let's - go - Rock-ets" CLAP - CLAP - CLAP.CLAP.CLAP. :)
Who knew a game 7 was possible, I figured they would have taken care of the Lakers in 5.. haha
- if they had yao, mutumbo, and tmac they would have.sublocked

its called the lakers playing too non-chalant
the Lakers played stupid, am not going to be like other fans and blame the refs.. only call that was stupid was Kobe getting a "T".
Otherwise Lakers blatantly just too lazy, Gasol is a glaring suspect
- but why? They had a chance to come out and put us away? Now they HAVE to win, who wants that kind of pressure?irrelevant
- stupid man, they played utterly lazy, which has been the issue all year, and which is why..akoni
- ..they lost homecourt advantage throughout the playoffs as well.akoni
- are you worried that they could blow it in game 7 at all? I like the fact that we now REALLY have a chance despite playing in LAirrelevant
- im more angry then worried right now. But no, not worried that we can't take care of business.akoni
- irrelevant0
Ok, I love my Rockets. BUT, I'm starting to think it's rigged, because how does a team that can blow you out by 40 in a previous game come out and lose by 15? Who benefits most from a game 7? The NBA, TV Advertisers, Team Owners. Could it really all be about money?
- irrelevant0
Rockets WILL force a game 7 AND possibly win the series. Any takers?

- refunktion0
yeah, rockets are done, tomorrow night.... sucks, cause i fucking hate the lakers.... and kobe and phil.
- akoni0
This is not sarcasm, but as a Laker fans know, I feel bad for the Rockets when you have to rely on Brian Cook as one of your 'bigs'.
