GeorgesII I just took a little turn around my studio and can definitely say with absolute confidence that already I think I am less sure of my own opinions on the subject of extra terrestrials.
I must leave for Calcutta at once.

- wow. that is maybe the most beautiful way of comparing galactic sizes i have ever encountered. GENIUSdasohr

so what is the consensus? I just started watching it.

Do the aliens have some kind of cool alien bacon for trade or sale?

The Earth is just a spec of dust when compared to the rest of the universe. To believe that the universe revolves around the earth and that that there is no other life in the universe is ignorant.

When was the last time Washington had a briefing like this on UFOs? The 60's? This seems like a big deal, huh?
- TheBlueOne0
Now they're talking about "proof" of alien abductions? What a farce. So this is what passes for "news" in the 21st century?
No jet pack and now this? Western Civilization is going to hell in a handbasket...
- ********0
shit...Implants, abductions.... This has never been seriously addressed by washington on a public level.
I tell you now, they know something. Something has happened and in progress. They are easing us in. It has begun.
Get you tinfoil!

maybe I should clarify my point.
immagine the milky way is the size of earth,
on the billion of planets and billions of suns,
you have ten that have life on it,
what are the odds if they were only 10 person on earth they'll ever meet each other. earth is quite enormous and when you travel a lot you understand how small we are,now lets clarify even more,
lets say the first person born on earth has more advance knowledge on technology than the last one and every years that passes he learns to walk, then ride a bike, then build some tools,
the last born is still wondering if the sun is the center revolves around him while the first born is riding in his ferrari enzo,
this is pretty much how I see it,
we don't know shit, we only started discovering some of the laws of quantum physics 60 years ago and we think stars that have 5 to 10 billions years of development before we were even amoebas don't have life on it,
this is cocky and I guess some of us are better at this game then others.- Georges, I get that "statistically" based on a mathematical matrix of plausibility they may beHorp
- this is all I wanted you to say,
so you can't deny it,
GeorgesII - more than we know, but its a fundamentally flawed way of looking at the universe.Horp
- please explain me how you see it, so far you've just cracked some petty jokes, make a post explaining yourself like an adultGeorgesII
- I do not deny the possibly, I deny all evidence to date. We have not managed deep space travel so if we stand...Horp
- ... as the model of proof then its conceivable that other life forms are no more advanced than us.Horp
- You are looking for patterns Georges, you are saying "we are here, so statistically such a vast expanse must yield...Horp
- similar results somewhere. But you are mixing two concepts. What makes you think there has to be a repeat pattern? That life must be dotted about 'evenly'?Horp
- How does our existence provide any proof at all that other species must exist?Horp
