So, is Patrick on Spongebob Squarepants like mentally defective or something? It seems every time he talks he says something really stupid.

I mean, I know he's only an animated character and stuff. And he's only like a starfish, which isn't even a vertebrate (hence not so clever or articulate). But, still, he seems extraordinarily doltish. Don't you think?
