who uses it still?
i have to for a university project and can't help thinking that once this project is finished i'll never open it again.
i assume that the same work can be produced with flex and air instead, would i be right there?

so i was totally vague there- my bad.
im talking about Macromedia Director (MX 2004 is what i'm using right now.)

there were rumours that adobe were going to release director 8 - not sure if that ever happened but the only thing it was ever good for was making 3D interactive [like games, menus]. But was only a matter of time before flash would do the same.
was a painful project.
i ended up making "the magic mushroom maze" featuring the mushroom from mario, who had to get through a course of balls and walls. problem is - i applied the chaotic script to everything so the game was impossible to play. haha
