the type is painful... putting serifs on a 3d plane is probably difficult enough... but the menu kerning is horrid and it's 2d... there's really no excuse for that (especially when it goes bold) ...

look buddy, in a year everything will be in a 3D space...2D web sites will be a thing of the past, dead, like VHS Tapes...so you better get with the program and start learning papervision...

I found the Big Spaceship thread interesting the other day and how people were wanting them to do more than just a blog site. Then I saw this. What if BS did something like this? Would it be more suitable?

Look, Big Spaceship just needs to convert their flat, wordpress site into a papervision site....that's what soft did...a 2D site as 3D!
then they can have the best of both worlds

gratuitous panning doesn't really do it for me. i almost prefer the html version, but it seems like an afterthought.
