lets put it this way - you will be discussing your resume in interviews.
use that knowledge to your advantage

add up the actual time you spent as an intern and that's how much experience you have (as an intern). they won't confuse it with anything else.

I'd expect you can use the Experience space for any sort of non-school activitiy..
There's a field there for position, so why not put "Intern - Acme Design" so its really clear what sort of position you had at each company you list..- wrong. place internships as if there were jobs on your resuberdesigner
- not jobs, its 'Experience'ribit

In my book, the only thing that really matter is the portfolio. You can 12 years of experience and a crappy portfolio and you can have 3 year of experience and an incredible portfolio.

not at the same place guys.

what the fuck... talk about fear

Actually, yeah...WTF...you worked an entire 5 years as an intern?

I'm filling out my krop portfolio information. I'm just concerned they are asking for professional, out of school experience. meh.

No, don't say 5 years if you've only been an intern. They will be able to see where you've worked, and that along with the quality of your work is what they will use to evaluate you.

why do you have 5 years of intern experience?

I thought the more experience the better.

I'm essentially going to be an entry level designer, but when they ask how many years of experience I've had, do I (could I) state that I have had 5 years of internship experience? Should I compromise and cut those years by half? I'm confused...I don't want to sound like I'm way too ahead of myself, but I also don't want to come off as someone who hasn't been active in the industry. Or does it even matter?
