interesting but pretty difficult to read.

i dig it - think its piss easy to read

I think the x and the k really stand out from the rest of the letters. All the others are quite heavy and solid while if looks like too much has been taken away from those and they don't quite sit with the rest.
have you tried making the x more like the s, in just taking out smaller notches from the main shape?
- Also, Im not wild on the angles on the cross bar of the T. Seems a little off.shitehawke

I know what you mean... maybe smaller notches would help on some of the characters. I was trying to keep them all the same size but if it doesn't look right maybe i could cheat a little....
- Yeah but the c is miles away from the r or u, so i think you can cheat a little to get it looking 'visually' rightshitehawke
- ... instead of mathmatically right. If that makes sense?shitehawke

the t's ascender look abit weak aswell

okie, seriously
why mixing the uppercase and lowercase together?
it will cause visual and logic problem
basic grid too simple
block type trend is gone
like other said, h, r , f , e are big problem

i feel like the stroke on the R should be vertical, not angled. Might help separate it from the E.
I also kinda feel like the rhythm is a little off. some of the letters dont feel like they belong together. the T seems aesthetically a little different than the rest. wish i could articulate it beyond that.
interesting face, though. real good start.
you gonna be charging for it? :)

i'd like to work on it a bit more and maybe put it together in fontlab if i have time. maybe stick a download thing on my website maybe. but thatnks for the constructive feedback though... really helpful
- thanks evenitstimefortea
- cool! show us any updates.baseline_shift

maybe concentrate on making the font just in lowercase

Ohh, what's really going to bake your noodle later on is, would you still have broken it if I hadn't said anything?

if you didn't use the phrase "the quick brown fox..." it probably wouldn't have been legible for me....although it looks very nice.

Not my flavor of uisge, sorry Jim.

looks like you need a pair of gloves to handle it.

Personally, I hate type like this.
Reminds me of the crap I doodled on graph paper when I was twelve.
Sorry, nothing personal - I've seen far better examples that I hated equally.

The square O is a bit weird too. I agree with a lot of the criticism. If you build a typeface, do your best to make it complete with separate uppers and lowers if you can. Otherwise, good start.
