1a....work on the stroke thickness, it should go from thick to thin and work on the flames a little. Get it "hot and heavy"
- MondoMorphic0
Btw, this are a rough, initial pass at logo designs, so please be merciful! :)

what else you got?

This seems like something Lloyd would do, would actually spend the time on, and put in a thread as a joke.
That said, I believe you and think you need to make it sexier. Variable stroke thickness like Hurley said is a great suggestion.

Just off the top of my head; might not even work but...do you see that shape the skin tone of the face (only face, not neck) makes? Maybe that could that form into a heart. Plus, I would kill the literal pictogram and go abstract.
- mg330
Oh, and I think the image kind of loses the point. I'd expect to see something more of the full height of two people kind of interlocked.

The illustration (bottom ones) is pretty good, and could work with better type.
Another option: two people making out but done in a simple iconic style.

also, stay away from images of people. the search engine (if it took off) will want to be used by dudes looking for chicks, chicks looking for dudes, dudes looking for dudes, chicks looking for chicks, catholic priests looking for alter boys. you get the idea. it needs to be broad to encompass the possible audience.

"catholic priests looking for alter boys"
Don't worry airey, your demographic will be represented

The bottom 2 are the most creative by far. The top 2 are pretty generic and poorly crafted. I would explore the bottom idea a bit further as you have a good idea, but the execution is lacking.
- 7point340
as an illustration or iconographic design 1C and D are great, but ultimately not very logo ish
top 2 aren't strong enough as a mark in my opinion
- hektor9110
I think the first one, however I think it needs more elaboration
It needs to be sexier like someone here said!

let's call a spade a fucking digging tool and be honest. they're plainly shit. we've all been there and when you start a new logo you'll create shit. you've got those concepts out of your head and now you have to hit the mouse and come up with some more.
you can't polish a turd. granted you can roll it in glitter but it's obviously still a turd.
i could be wrong.

refine 1a, lose the text for now
- version30
maybe retool the heart appeal into a set of lips
burning lips instead of burning heart
- Andy_ssw0
Make it type only. Serif Gothic or similar in an interesting lockup.
if you need a graphic/symbol, work it into the type, I say.
Happy Easter.......

There used to be a brothel around here called sweethearts. Logo was a long spiral lollipop heading between the two bumps of a love heart. . both elements horizontal (wasn't suggestive of anything else but a heart and a lollipop ;) ). The joint is shut down now, maybe you can resurrect the logo.

maybe if you abstract the kissing pair in 2,3 into lineart you would get an interesting sign.
text needs new idea imo, maybe 2lines instead of that long 1liner, another font?

Lovin 1C. Lovin the icon... definitely don't need the red glow.
My initial thought though is that the type feels a bit disconnected.
I would play with this for a while before going to a totally new concept.

where are the 1 colors of c and d?
