Is not pretty.
But, I'm looking for some graphic/urban-y spaces within it - basically anywhere in the triangle from the Hayward Gallery to Canary Wharf and as far out as the Ferrier Estate in Kidbrooke. Which looks very apocalyptic and concrete-y but might get me stabbed. Any thoughts?

If you walk to the end of Pelton Road (Greenwich/Maze Hill) - you reach the river. Turning left takes you on a pretty walk in to Greenwich. However, turning right you will get exactly what you're after. Redundant (Or seldom used) works, and disused buildings.
- just checked google street view - and the path is blocked off. Well, last year it was anywayBeach8oy2
